Data deletion

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. It is free and you do not need to give a reason.

How to ask

• Email [email protected] with your Instagram username.
• Or send a direct message to @promotto on Instagram saying "delete my data". A DM proves the account is yours, so it is the fastest way.

If you email us, we may ask you to confirm by DM so that nobody can delete someone else's data.

What gets removed

• Your username, IGSID and stored comments.
• Any colour, label or photo you set for your ball, including rendered copies.
• Your messages to us.
• Your username in the results files we publish, where it is replaced with "removed".

Race videos already posted show usernames on the balls. Changing one would change the recorded race, so on request we take the video down instead of editing it.

Your comment on Instagram itself is yours. Delete it on Instagram.

How long it takes

We confirm within 7 days and finish within 30 days.
